SA3000P, HRV analyzer is SA3000P, HRV analyzer is¡¦ the medical equipment which quantitatively show you the stress (the response to the stressor) of your body and the ANS activity and balance by measuring and analyzing the HRV, Heart Rate Variability. The HRV is mirroring the ANS activity and sympathetic-parasympathetic (vagal) balance. This makes it a valuable tool for investigation of the autonomic nervous system in almost all medical branches. HRV measurements are easy to perform, are noninvasive and have reliable reproducibility under standardized experimental conditions.

* What is Heart Rate Variability ?
While the rhythmic beating of the heart at rest was once believed to be monotonously regular, we now know that the rhythm of a healthy heart under resting conditions is actually surprisingly irregular. The momentto-moment variations in heart rate are easily overlooked when average heart rate is calculated. The HRV, derived from the electrocardiogram (ECG), is a measurement of these naturally occurring, beat-to-beat changes in heart rate. The HRV, heart rate variability is the degree of fluctuation in the length of the intervals between heart beats. (Malik & Camm, 1995)
* HRV & ANS (Autonomic Nervous System)
The normal variability in heart rate is due to the synergistic action of the two branches of the ANS, which act in balance through neural, mechanical, humoral and other physiological mechanisms to maintain cardiovascular parameters in their optimal ranges and to permit appropriate reactions to changing external or internal conditions. In a healthy individual, thus, the heart rate estimated at any given time represents the net effect of the parasympathetic (vagus) nerves, which slow heart rate, and the sympatheticnerves, which accelerate it.
